TFI was founded in 1983 to simplify international sourcing and provide products to large OEM and RTA furniture manufacturers. With TFI employees located overseas and a large vendor base, TFI was able to provide high volume items to our customers at significant cost savings. Our sourcing abilities coupled with our expertise in managing and brokering complex international shipments quickly led to our success.

In 1985, Avanté Hardware was established to service the needs of distributors nationwide. The full line of decorative hardware featured proprietary designs as well as many standard items. Strategically located warehouses, overseas sourcing capabilities, high quality service, and competitive pricing positioned Avanté as one of the leaders in the industry.

Today as we move into the new millennium, Avanté continues to be on the cutting edge featuring innovative display boards, beautiful literature, extensive product selections and customized sales programs.
